Announcing our Summer Social Value Challenge 2024!   

We began 2024 with our Pastie and Pledge event where we launched the refreshed social value nudges for Bolton businesses. This event was a massive success with many organisations signing up to make a difference through the way they do business.

So what now?

We want to help businesses to create social value in Bolton through simple, easy to do actions that collectively make a huge difference to our neighbourhoods and for the future of our town. We know that it often feels too much or too difficult to do business with so many things to be aware of.

That’s why the social value pledges were created!

Introducing the Summer Social Value Challenge…

During August we want to encourage businesses, big and small, to work through our pledges and see how many they can achieve. Creating some healthy competition to build awareness and make small changes to make an even bigger difference to our brilliant Bolton.

Maybe you are interested in learning more about the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter so you could pledge to become a member (pledge number 16) or you might sign up to become a Boltons Fund grant assessor (pledge number 2)?

If this is for you then simply take a look at the pledges, decide which ones are practical and do-able for your organisation and get on with it!

It really is that simple!

All we ask it that you register your pledge here and at the end of August we will publish the numbers and celebrate with all who participated.
