The refreshed Bolton Family Social Value Partnership is celebrating one year in its current form! Over the past year, we’ve been dedicated to strengthening social value initiatives across Bolton, and our work is guided by several key priorities:
1. Collaborative Approach: Bringing together private, public, and voluntary sectors to direct social value investment towards Bolton’s key local priorities.
2. Support for Local Businesses: Fostering a supportive ecosystem for local businesses and social enterprises, reducing duplication, and maximizing impact through shared resources and ideas.
3. Community Impact: Focusing on measurable outcomes in employment, education, and community well-being, all aligned with Bolton’s 2030 vision.
4. Focus on Social Value: Promoting opportunities for businesses to create and measure social value through initiatives like the Real Living Wage and support for social enterprises.
5. VCSE Engagement: Engaging with the Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise sector to ensure activities have real community benefits, supporting grassroots projects and the broader social enterprise network.
